Her experience with pets goes all the way back to childhood. While always having multiple pets in the family scene, she always begged for more. When Dani turned 15 she began working for Paw Print Kennels with Mark Edwards. She worked with the dogs and customers, as well as bathing and brushing pups. A year later she moved on to Petsmart grooming salon and worked again as a bather/ brusher. From there she attended Petsmart Pet Stylist Academy and received her certificate in grooming. A couple years later she became manager of the Petsmart grooming salon all the while building up a loyal clientele.

            After 6 months of being a manager Dani decided to give up the corporate rat race and reunited with Mark Edwards to groom at his new and improved kennel, “Z Pet Hotel”.

            Dani is very willing to work with different pet personalities as well as any specialized cuts that you would prefer.  


                            
                                            CHELSIE REED-ANIMAL CARETAKER/KENNEL MANAGER

    Chelsie is a student at Santa Fe Community College, studying American Sign Language (ASL), Animal Behavior, and Marine Biology. She plans on becoming a Beluga Whale trainer and helping to manage a Marine Wildlife Sanctuary in the near future, while spending her free time working with deaf handicapped children who have an interest in animals. Currently, she has two horses of her own, Pierce and Artax, whom of which she spends most of her time with, while using the Pat Parelli training method on both horses as common practice for her degrees.

    She came to us after she found herself becoming the owner of a second horse, Artax, who was in desperate need of a good home. She loves to work with animals and always has since she was a small child, although her first jobs as a teenager were mostly spent working in restaurants and music stores. She continued to search for a healthy environment for animals that she could find work with. Eventually at age 20, she stumbled across Z Pet Hotel on a complete accidental basis, and wound up with the perfect job.

MICHELLE YATES-ANIMAL CARETAKER/KENNEL MANAGER

            Michelle has worked with the US Census Bureau for 1 ½ years. During that time Michelle had a lot of contact with the public gathering information about their household. Michelle traveled all over New Mexico while working with the Census. Michelle also worked a lot with computers and telephone conversations. 
    Michelle also worked with the New Mexico Workforce Solutions program where they placed her to work with her pueblo (the Pueblo of  Nambe) working at the governors office.  Michelle was a floater at the Pueblo, helping all staff with anything they needed.   
        Michelle has received a Career Diploma for Veterinary Assisting through Penn Foster Career Schools in the year 2009. While completing her studies, Michelle volunteered at numerous animal hospitals which included Valley Veterinary Clinic, Arroyo Seco Animal Hospital and Sangre De Cristo Animal Hospital. Michelle would help prep for surgery as well as check dogs and cats in and out. Michelle also volunteered at the Spay and Neuter Clinic and the Santa Fe Animal Shelter. While volunteering at the Spay and Neuter Clinic, Michelle would monitor cats and dogs while they came out of anesthsia. 
        Michelle is currently involved in a program through New Mexico Workforce Solutions, which placed her to work with Z Pet Hotel doing on the job training.   
        Michelle had been looking for a job that would help get her foot in the door to continue her education towards Veterinary Assisting. Michelle was at her wits end when she found out about Z Pet Hotel, which fits her likes very well. Z Pet Hotel will help Michelle further her career in working with animals.
